Quilt Chart of Index Funds

A quilt chart is an interesting way to present classes of investments and how they'd perform during different years. There are lots of these, and they split up assets in different ways, but I wanted one that would show the popular index funds that I hear discussed in communities. And just for fun, I threw in bitcoin. I'm not a big believer in crypto, but it's interesting to include it in a chart like this because you can see the risk in it - when it does well it does really well. When it does poorly it does really poorly. And there isn't enough history to see how it will do over decades.

I used a lot of Vanguard funds because they have lots of history, but most of these funds have some variation with other investment firms. If you like VTSAX, check out FZROX, that kind of idea.

I hear QQQ talked about a lot. It is the non-finance NASDAQ 100. Some call it arbitrary and tech-heavy, others love how it's done recently.
